Our objective is to increase your safety….   your online safety, your banking safety, even the safety of having uninterrupted electrical power being delivered to your home or business.  In addition to the ability of Sovay to identify the user correctly at login, Sovay identification can “irrefutably” identify the person who actually logged in by virtue of its video recording of the user during login.  Sovay identification empowers our users and customers to protect access to their online accounts, their online records and to their restricted assets.

This site and SovayID are intended to be used by persons 13 years of age, or older.

We further improve your safety by protecting your personal identity information.  Your personal identity information is only disclosed under three circumstances:

  • you have directed or approved the disclosure
  • a court order or subpoena requires disclosure
  • a public or personal safety issue to prevent imminent bodily harm requires disclosure

Web Site Visitor

  • no personal information that would disclose your identity is collected
  • your IP address, the URL of the site from which you arrive or leave Veritrix’ website, your type of browser and your ISP are collected
  • Veritrix does not monitor the content of the blog commentaries that visitors post to the blog and website, but reserves the right to monitor such content and delete any content it deems inappropriate

Commenter on blogs

  • your screen name, email address and ip address are collected. They are retained for as long as the blog and associated comments are posted
  • this information is used for blog management and is not shared with any third parties
  • only your screen name appears on the comment, not your email address

SovayID

As a user of SovayID you are expecting our service to recognize and identify you through a variety of means, including biometric data that we collect from a video of you during registration of your account.  That biometric data includes features of your face and voice.  Your identity information is not shared with any third parties.  Your biometric data is used internally by SovayID to confirm or deny who you are for the purposes of third party login, such as with OpenID, but only the confirmation or denial of your identity is communicated, not the identifying information.

  • your name, e-mail address, country, location, and phone number may be collected when you register
  • you may change this information when you update your profile using the Account Management page
  • recordings (video and/or audio) of your face and voice are collected when you register, and identifying biometric data comprised of face metrics and voice metrics, is extracted
  • these recordings and your information is retained until you close your account
  • we use cookies to maintain session information and streamline your experience; no personal information is placed into cookies, and these cookies are not retained

Uses of Personal Information

  • to administer your account
  • to authenticate your identity for third parties, such as OpenID partners
  • to send you service communications through email
  • at your direction, your information may be shared with third parties for specific purposes, such as processing credit card transactions when you purchase or subscribe to a Veritrix offering
  • we do not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal identifiable information to any third parties

  • tell us to close your SovayID account through your account management page

Notices

  • notice of all changes that materially affect ways in which your personal information may be used or shared will be posted in updates to our Privacy Policy and posted here, and alerted in our twitter stream
